Cia is a yandere character from the video game series Hyrule Warriors.
Background[]
She is deeply obsessed with and in love with Link.
Cia was originally the Guardian of Time tasked with maintaining the balance of the Triforce. Although a good person at heart, she came to harbor powerful affections for Link, which in turn became deep-seated jealousy directed towards Princess Zelda who Link has feelings for.
Preoccupied by these thoughts, Cia was left vulnerable as she was confronted by a spiritual fragment of darkness, belonging to Ganondorf, who saw an opportunity in using her. His words managed to persuade her, ultimately corrupting Cia as her light was pushed away and turning her curiosity into a strong desire for Link and her feelings for Link became corrupt.

- She is deeply obsessed with Link and has several statues of him inside her palace.
- She became jealous of Princess Zelda and started a war with Hyrule in order to eliminate her as a rival for Link's affection.
- While she desires to have Link by her side, she's perfectly willing to kill him if he won't become hers.
- After she is defeated by Link in battle, leaving her gravely injured, she comes to terms with her defeat and admits that she will never earn Link's affection. Cia then smiles at Link as she fades away.
