Sayaka Himura, also known as Saiko-chan, is a yandere character from the video game series Saiko no Sutoka.
Background[]
Sayaka was born into a wealthy family and has loved everything connected with rabbits since she was a child. She lived in a large mansion with her biological father. As a child, Sayaka witnessed a murder committed by her father who stabbed a man to death in his home. He was taken into custody and sentenced to compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital and little Sayaka was placed under the care of Satsuki Omehara, her foster mother, who treats Sayaka dismissively. At the moment, Sayaka's father is still in asylum and Sayaka lives with her foster mother/stepmother in an apartment building. Sayaka doesn't have any other relatives.
As time went on, Sayaka began to experience bouts of DID as a teenager as a result of the psychological trauma and probably her stepmother's neglect over the years. At the time of the events of the prologue in the fourth and fifth parts, Sayaka hasn't completely lost her mind yet, but subsequent events already show her unstable psychological state. As a child, she also meets Hatsune Elissu, who becomes her close and maybe only childhood friend. Sayaka went to another school in town, and in high grades she transferred to a new one.
Sayaka fell in love with Akira at first sight when he helped her up off the floor.
Sayaka's DID manifests as two unique personalities. Her original and default personality is "yandere" where she is obsessively in love with Akira and would never physically hurt him, while her second personality is "yangire" where she is obsessively angry at Akira and thinks he isn't worthy of Sayaka so she tries to kill him.

- In her yangire state, she ruthlessly tries to kill Akira.
- She will use a deadly poison to try to kill Akira.
- In Nightmare Mode, she will rip out Akira's heart if he refuses to kill Shinji.
